The Jekyll Island Foundation is proud to partner with the Jekyll Island Authority’s Reforestation Program. Along with the Garden Clubs of Georgia, Georgia Forestry, and JIA’s own live oak and pine seedling proliferation efforts, the JIA has planted more than 1,100 trees, with ongoing efforts.
Newly planted Live Oak, Loquat (Japanese Plumb), and Crepe Myrtle sapling locations are maintained by JIA staff and located within or near an irrigation system. Each location is a pedestrian-friendly environment.
NOTE: Price increase due to rapidly rising costs within the supply chain.
