Michael D. Hodges

Michael Hodges is the market president of Ameris Bank in Brunswick. He currently serves as Chairman of the Jekyll Island Authority. He also serves as the chairman of the Glynn- Brunswick Memorial Hospital Authority, a trustee of the College of Coastal Georgia Foundation and a board member of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce. Hodges earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Georgia and a master’s degree from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Delaware. He and his wife, Dana, reside in St. Simons Island and have two sons.
